There are many ways we can be communicated with. We can hear words spoken, read words written, or feel stirrings in our spirit. Communication occurs during personal devotions, public worship, private conversations, books of varying subjects, retreats, missions, and any place where you’ve made yourself available to God and others.
You may be “spoken to” loudly enough to ring over the noise of the world but often God’s voice is “thin and quiet”. (1 Kings 19:12, CEB) Often, if we’re not paying attention, communication can be missed.
